The "Official" Evo Modding for Dummies
What next evo 8?
Got an 03 evo and not to sure what I should buy it. Just got it a month ago and it has the following
-injen intake and charge pipe
-hmbc boost controler
-custom turbo back exhaust with cat delete
-aftermarket clutch
Now I think the boost is set to around 17 psi.
I'm pretty new so tell me anything

Break out the pocket book kid...Get cams, intercooler, injectors, fuel pump, and tune it for ethanol..lol It depends on what you are trying to do with the car. Unlimited options out there. What are your plans?

Do you have a boost gauge and a wideband gauge? As of right now I would recommend doing general maintenance to the car because you really don't know how long it's been since the fluids and all that have been changed.
You can also bring it to a local evo shop and ask their opinion on what they think you should do.
How much power do you want out of the car? Are you going to race it at the strip? Autocross? Road course? Daily driven?

maintenance is the timming belt done , plugs wires boost leak test, fluids trans diff transfer case. Then check compression test, and then a good tune if all is well
