Sorry, that's not stock at all and is therefore not relevant. Even VIIIs have run 12s completely stock, so a IX RS hitting 12.99 with extra timing, usable launch control (>5k), and weight removed is not interesting (nor stock).
I also have 2 problems with you.

1. Yes, It did run that E.T. and MPH with that 60' even if you don't like it.

2. I was adding input, not looking for yours, so you could stick it up your *** if you like.

Maybe that video can help you. See how he slips just enough till the tire grips?

Sorry, but it did not - you cannot run that time with that trap and 60'. Only with a much better 60'. You just don't remember the exact details, and that is obvious.

You didn't add input, because this is about STOCK IXs...not IXs with multiple changes who barely hit 12s. You're headed straight for a ban with an attack like that, so watch yourself.

OK, you're right. That never happened. I make up **** about barely running 12s to make myself look cooler.

I will go hide under a rock again since you threatened the ban. Sorry sir.

Looks like Mr. Warrtalon was right. I didn't have my facts straight.

It wasn't a 1.87 60' time, it was a 1.86.

Funny part is that though 104 was the fastest MPH that day, the 12 second pass was @ only 102 mph. Impossible I guess...

So, that solves one problem Mr. Warrtalon had. As far as the car being stock goes, you're right, 3 degress of timing and a 5500 rpm stationary rev limit is FAR from stock but I have still yet to see someone else post a time slip in this thread.

Warrtalon, you should post yours. I've seen a couple timeslips in my time, buy hey, what's a few more.

This thread is flipping lame as hell. Why even start such a ghey thread in the first place. These days full sized diesel trucks are faster than most evos at the strip!

The EVO is not a straight line car.

EVOs are not the fastest but are very consistent with ok drivers......every time I have been to a track, EVOs are running close to the best ET in that particular night.....the fact that it's so easy to get 11s ET from a EVO especially a IX......prove my point.

How many full sized diesel trucks are running 11s in your town?

This thread is completely pointless. If one person ran a 12.9x on their stock Evo that doesn't your Evo a 12 second car. Remember the car is only as good as it's driver. If you run a 13.2 in your car and I run a 12.9 in your car then it is a 12 second car for me but a 13 second car for you because of the driver.

I'm so sick of Evo owners with big heads saying yeah my car runs 12's but does not have anything to back it up nor can they even come close to that time themselves. Hell we even have some evo owners with 14 second cars!

You guys must have a very weak track scene..... around here an 11s drag car is slow as hell. In my neck of the woods if you aren't running 10s your car is a slow turd. This isn't only at the track either... our street scene is just as organized. You can't find a straight back road that doesn't have traction compound residue on it!

The evo is a zig zag car. That is where it can hold its own.
