Just interested to see what peoples times were for STOCK IXs running 12s in the 1/4

BONE stock IX's running 12's??? It'd have to be a factory freak. I don' think it can be done w/out an exaust and flash...

 

It has been done, but it takes Jesus himself driving

i know this is off topic but i figured i'd add anyway but i am pretty sure i saw a thread on here of a guy that ran a 12.7 on a stock IX besides a flash! I thought that was pretty impressive!

 

I have seen some 13.2's and 13.1's with poor driving and a flash. They probably would have run 12's with some practice. If thats close enough to stock for you, otherwise the best I have seen is consistent 13.33-.36 @ 105 or so.

 

I came close with just a LICP. Also air filter and my spare were removed... 13.08 at 107.28 mph

 

I believe the total of IXs that have ran 12s stock is around three. Although I've heard rumors of more, but can't confirm that. There have been plenty of IXs that would have potentially ran 12s with better 60fts. The traps are often there, but the skill is not.

Last year a thin older guy in a stock IX RS ran 12.93 on a near empty tank of gas.

 

Yeah, several have done it, or at least they claim to have done it...

 

The best I've heard is a 12.8 in a RS.

 

I think I would be able to do it if I had another shot. I already went 13.0 @ 105 with a horried 1.9 60' on a BONE stock IX, that was my second try, first time was a 13.1 @ 105.

 

105mph should do it, I ran a 12.96 at 104.7mph with 1.88 60' in my craptasticly running VIII.
