Unhappy The gravel grind of death! :(

Hello, just curious if this happens to anyone else:
When you drive over dirt on the road that's about thick sandish consistancy do you hear the $#*% hitting your under body and it sounds like gravel hitting your under body? WTH is UP with that? How can I fix that? What is it hitting, I freaking HATE that, it sounds like sand and gravel just scrapping the side of the car for the love of GAWD it sucks

Another thing that sucks is steep driveways on the way DOWN. Like you go up fine but then you SSSSCCCRAAAAAAPE your front lip and undertray on the way DOWN the thing because you didn't know it was so steep. That undertray which I haven't priced yet, is an aero part so needless to say it made me throw up a little to know I scraped it up a little when I last drove it. What sucks is you're stuck like, "well #@&%, screw next time, that's on STOCK hieght". The whole thing makes me throw up a little. Then I think well, welcome to Evo life... /sigh

you should try and take dips and pot holes in the road at an angle. you won't scrape as much

Just raise your Evo 2-3 inches. And put 20's on it.

VTA Bov and open down pipe, that ought to take care of the noise.

As for the front bumper, just remove it.

If that does not work, just keep it untuned. By doing this you will be forced to focus on the car dying and over boosting instead of the scrapes and noises.

I had the same issue with my 06 IX. Only car I've ever had that made that noise. I chalked it up to the thin crummy body panels they used on the car. The tires are flinging that crap into the wheelwells and it just sounds awful.

i agree on the raising it thing. make it look like those impallas that are raised with the chrome 22's or whatever it is. Seriousl. Thank god you dont have the RS model then since there is a lack of sound deadening material

Only drive on soft, fluffy snow....that'll get rid of the noise. Then again that might be tough to find in Houston.

You could put bubble wrap all around your car?
