Bypass A/C compressor?

Has anyone ever bought a belt to bypass the a/c unit if so what belt number?

You should be able to go to your local auto store and they can size a belt out for you.

I think you are wasting your time. With the AC off the only thing spinning is the rim of the pulley and it doesn't take much to do that. With the belt off I can spin it with one finger.

Unless you are going to pull the whole thing out as a weight savings, better off just not turning it on.
