This is the 1st - 2nd - 3rd time my car has been vandalized!! Twice in LA and now for the first time in Texas no more than 4 months moving here. I park my car at the train station every morning and take the train into work. On this particular day, I arrived a little late and parked in the Khol's parking lot right next to the train station (which most people do). Not to mention I was about 3 car spots away from the front door!! Evidently, this wasn't enough - they broke the window and tried to get the radio. Damages will probably be over $3k.

Buy a beeter and drive the Evo on weekends or if you do drive it, don't leave it alone for more than a few hours. And get an alarm. That really, really, really does suck though. I hope you don't lose hope and sell it. I hope whoever did that got hit by a car. I hate people who doesn't like other people to have nice things. Good luck to you though.

Sorry to hear that bro. I'm in Plano too and mine was broken into a couple of weeks ago. They stole my radar detector and cheap tool set. I'm still pissed.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune man. Don't put a stereo with a dvd player in a car you cant have garaged. I don't mean to be an *** about this, because you werent "asking for it." But with two break-ins already...? Pull the stereo out so that any passerby cant see it, or get a DD. It sucks we live in a world where that makes the most sense but.... we do.

 

yeah, sorry to hear about your bad luck. i had a experience one time while i was at a mall in white marsh mall. we were at a restaraunt for about a hour and i come out to my car and the drivers side door is kicked in near the bottom, it looks like someone really hit it hard and damaged my paint bad. probably some kids or something.. if i ever would have found that guy... i got it repaired but i swear it still doesn't look perfect..
sadly pretty soon i'll be selling her i hope nothing happens till then.....

 

what about those of us that have no choice but to drive the evo as DD? thats me so thats why i got a good 2 way alarm system w/backup battery so that it keeps on sirening til I stop it
