It depends on your mods and clutch. 4500=burnt clutch and bogged launch. Check the drag racing forum.

depending on your power levels and clutch no less than 5k, 6k was the sweet spot on a stock clutch and stock turbo, on a turbo kit with an exedy twin it went down because it is too hard to get traction at higher rpms. 4500 is way too low bud.

Thats way too low. The last time I tried launching that low my car bogged a bit. My 2 step is set for 6250 and it take off like a rocket.

I think 6000 is ideal. Builds a decent amount of boost off the line.

i have mine at 6000 also but at the track i wish i can have it set up at like 6200 or 6500. But as long as u know how to slip the clutch and the tires spin ur transfer case will be fine right? On the street when i launch at 6000 with 8 psi it spins all 4 tires so i should be fine right? i have the exedy twin disc hd btw.

Mine is at 5500, I hold it untill I see around 10psi and slip it. Stock turbo/stock clutch.
