boost leak test = oil leak?

i finnaly did a boost leak test today and found the tb gasket leaking and of course the pos plastic bov. after i put everything back together i started it and relized i never plugged the maf connector back in . so i shut it off , plugged it in and started it .i then let it idle for a few minutes and shut it off. when i came back a couple of hours ago i found a decent size oil puddle underneath near the turbo . the oil filter and drain plug were tight and oil free .
any chance i could have blew an oil feed/return line doing a boost leak test?
(only went up to 13-15psi)

Shouldn't be related. *IF* it somehow did cause the leak then it was inevitable and would have happened very soon anyway.

When you performed the test, did you block the hose that goes from the valvecover to the intake? Did the car smoke when you started it?

I didn't know you had to cap that off for a boost leak test. Doesn't the throttle plate close at idle to seal it off the engine?

i could tell the throttle body gasket was bad by opening and closing the the tb plate and listening for tone changes just like it says on the cobb tuning site , i hope i didnt blow out a the head gasket or a piston ring by letting all that pressure in without the car on. either way well see im going to the shop to check it out now.
thanks for the help

My local dealership hired people who couldn't remember to tighten lug nuts. That wasn't a fun experience. (not in the evo.)
