painting the evo
True-dat. I paided $7,500 for a show quality paint job last year on my 1987 Buick GN. This was with limited body work.
I just got a estimate to paint my 2003 Jeep wrangler for $2000 its my daily driver.
Im not going to quote any prices for a paint job because like everyone else is saying it really varies depending on the quality, plus I dont have the slightest clue as to what it would cost. I can offer you some input though. First of all dont take this the wrong way but dont you think its a little foolish to purchase a car that you dont like the color to? If i were you id give the car hunt a little bit of patience until you found one which your completly content with. Then you could save that 2grand or whatever its going to cost you and put it towards something else. If you are set on that one car though for whatever reason, go for it! Im sure you could lower the cost of the paint job by doing all of the prep work yourself or something along those lines. Whatever you do I wish you luck!
Maaco = **** paint watered down a lot with the clearcoat mixed in with the paint. Bad idea. I'm going to be painting my evo lexus diamond white or lexus white metallic mica. We'll see how it goes
