mmmm....upgrades

i have an 06 evo ix and i was wondering what i should do next and you guys can comment on what i suggest...

first of all i have:

- uicp + licp
- walbro 255 fuel pump
- 3'' tbe
- invidia header manifold
- plugs and cables
- hks ssqv
- aem wideband
- Greddy Profec type B boost controller
- and an AMS TUNE

and what i was thinking was BRIAN CROWER cams i272/e272

tell me what you think...and if u have any suggestions

yeah cams ftw and get rid of the ssqv unless your using a standalone engine mangement...it runs like **** imo with it

you have a IX..you already have one...the 10.5 hotside would be an upgrade for 03-04 VIII's

yeah i got it tuned today actually and i have 289hp and 301tq the only thing is i cant really afford $700 for the greddy cams and i wasnt sure if the ones i was looking at were any good and also what kind of increase will there be

Beat me to it!

Cams are an EXCELLENT upgrade. I'd suggest Cosworth 272s from the dyno results IXs produced, but Brian Crower is a nice choice. Ever thought of meth injection?

10.5 hot side is the size of the turbine housing on your turbo (the exhaust side). 03-04 evos came with a 9.8cm hot side and 05 and up came with the 10.5cm. The 9.8cm will cause the turbo to spool faster, but will not make as much power up top as the 10.5cm will.
