How difficult would making your own be? I haven't heard of any company producing one of these.

 

if you are really serious your gonna need to make a patch panel and have it welded in, then have the entire roof repainted. why are you doing this again?

Try getting some vinyl that is used for stickers and signs. I used a sheet of this on my track car, and it worked fairly well and was pretty cheap.

 

^ Just so you guys know certain mods such as the ams carbon hood, while they are a great piece, bump you up a class in most road racing groups. I know for a fact that a carbon roof no matter what else is done to the car will bump you from street to modified class in the redline time attack series... I would suggest to you that you try and source an aluminum roof panel off of a wrecked evo or something along those lines... You do have a roll cage but when you remove the sunroof you will lose some body rigidity and it could be deemed unsafe during tech inspection if it isn't properly covered....

 

Dzus fastners, springs, plates, and some CF or fibreglass with some time would be cool.
