evo twitchy at high speeds

i recently bought an evo 8 and for the first time today i had it up to 120mph, didnt push it that far. but on the decel the car was a bit twitchy with the steering. the road wasnt perfect so i think it was the bumps throwing me a little, but i also think it might be the scary side of oversteer. which is it?

no not necessarily, but at high speeds couldnt the back wheels sort of want to push themselves out, especially if im pressing the brakes, putting a ton of weight to the front

Can I lock in my insurance rate before you turn yourself into a greasy spot?

I hope you're doing it at the track. The fastest I ever went with mine is around 100 on a 70mph zone. Still not good going over but I just want to test it out a little.

We don't need to go that far but I do agree that it's not funny for that kind of comments. I know that everyone have the urge for speed and we all know our limit. I just don't want to see cops coming to forums and start taking info about people who post that they speed this and that and we get trouble. I hope this will never happen. I went to the radar forum and they did warn users about posting their speed on their forums.

I see cops pretending to be teenage girls chatting with old people and bust them. You never know if there's cop pretending to be Evo member trying to crack down speed demons. When I want to speed, I go to my PS2 yeah still on a PS2 and drive my Evo and evade all the cops in NFS Carbon

I would only imagine Cali cops going to that much effort. They don't even like SR20DETs...

I think evos are a bit twitchy at high speeds because of the extremely fast steering rack. If you are on snow tire still, that will not help either.

i gotcha. i always wondered, if i ever find a place to get the evo going really fast. (def not interstate, dont want to lose my license) would something like this happen and i spin out like that one guy one here. but he removed his wing then proceded to hit 170+ i think at speeds of 150mph you'de really have to be cautious on the decel to avoid "critical speed" of oversteer
