is NX intercooler spray worth the couple hp gains?

 

I believe the gains tested were from nitrous oxide getting sucking into the intake. Technically, it SHOULD work, but I'm very skeptical. Doesn't hurt, but it is a lot of money where I would just rather have meth.

Meth will probably put you close to 450. I added meth and an AMS fmic on my stock 04 turbo and gained almost 90tq. BTW I have an SMC v2 kit if you are interested.

ive read good things about the aquamist hfs-1. getting mine in the summer

 

be careful with meth, especially with 91oct gas. also, 1000cc injectors are way overkill. i have a 20g on 93oct and run 660 injectors. i never understood why people used such huge injectors as it makes it tougher to tune to your fullest potential.

regardless, and someone correct me here if im wrong, but meth injection actually allows you to run a smaller injector size than you would normally without meth?awwma backwards to me, but this is what ive been told. either way i wont go near meth for my DD

o and skip the intercooler sprayer unless you just wanna use it to flex your hp muscles.

 

if you want 400 on pump, youd probably need an fp green and good set of cams. meth and a retune on 27-28 psi should get you there with the stock turbo.

 

Hey guys I just got quick question? I have pulling about 340whp and 365 tq. i have listed my current mods below for my evo 8 that I have and i just want to make sure that if i add meth i'll be able to hit 400whp? I just want to know if I need FP Green to do so or am I ok with the stock evo 9 turbo

As one of you guys stated above, no way i will run meth as my DD, whats wrong with that? if you don't hammer on the car all day long then i dont think there should be a problem.

i think i am gonna do methanol Injection. and get a final tune. and if im not happy with the power, im going stroker/ br 35r hta. thanks for the help guys
