this may be a dumb idoitic qeustion but is it just me or are all evos quiet at an idle and a slow cruz??....like ive seen and heard all diff evos and they all seem queit at idle unlike an sti or supra.

only reason im wondering is becuase i have a DC sports TBE and am wondering why its queit on an idle...and if i can change the muffler to be louder what muffler?

i like loud things and i wont stop until its loud and fast...cant settle for just fasstt

Trust me you'll want to leave it quiet as is.

I had the AMS TBE, and it idled louder then any other even I've seen in person. Eventually got me a fix it warning.

So I just sold the catback portion and got the HKS catback and its much quieter even with the AMS test pipe.

 

I have a buschur bullet tbe with a test pipe

idle isn't bad at all

cruising isn't exactly quiet by any means

 

yea i no but i love the loud man haha

i woulda bought ur catback!! ha too bad.

can i just buy a muffler with less packing??

I have staight pipe, its not that loud at idle , sounds like its cammed tho

 

i have a DC spots catless down pipe to a DC sports catbakc system....i think its the muffler.

i want it louder

 

I love my AMS TBE. I'm not sure what you can do with what you have. I guess find out what type of flanges DC uses and try to match it up with a louder catback

 

its not really quiet at idle, but at a certain rpm cruising it sounds quiet.

and lets meet up ur in jersey and u can hear mine lol....dont get me wrong mines rele loud wen your on the gas but at an idle and a cruise its queit which i dont like

like my friends sti has no cat and turbo xs TBE and its loud as F@#$ at an idle and slow cruise

Its obvious the only way your going to get your current TBE louder is with some nice lopey CAMS..! 272's Cosworth since you have a IX..
