Found a Evolution IX MR
Sorry I meant the body needed some re-paint. The front bumper had some scratches and black marks. The car does look "clean" as in slang. It was eye catching. Secondly, it does look nice. Nice in referring to looking not like crap when compared to a Ford Focus (Nothing against them, just not very good looking.)
for your own sake start reading about this car... actually start doing a LOT of reading... take notes maybe even.
you need to do your research when buying any car, but you need to pay even more attention to these cars.
nothing about that car sounds good. and you don't know jack about the car in general so do yourself a favor and pass on that piece of crap, read up and go back to look for one later!
some things to consider...
-get to know what the car looks like... differences between VIII and IX, MR/RS, etc...
-drive it, the transmission will probably shift like crap (make sure it's not TOO bad...)
-look under the hood for anything fishy!
hopefully you aren't posting a "my car is dead, help meeeee" thread in a few weeks... good luck

if you start off with a beat up car and you skills are limited, STAY AWAY. some of us might be able to get that sucker in good shape again, but it is already overpriced so doing it would not be a logical decision.
look for a 9 non mr. no disrespect for them but you would fit better in a 9 . if you still feel like that's the one. take a good mechanic friend with you to find all the problems or defects or missing parts. 25k plus ttl would seem like a good offer without looking at the car. just don't get blinded by the car and start signing away. think about it, stand your ground and let the dealership start offering you a price. they will see your interest the lower the price goes.
know your max offer before hand. and show them you did your homework.
