Help removing Trunk Wire PLEASE

I need to remove this wire in order to get the trunk release off of my IX. I see a tab on the back of where the wire attaches to the trunk and tried to pop it and pull gently but it is not coming off and it is not clear that I should do it that way. I dont want to break it. PLEASE HELP

Figured it out... Just unsnap the tab and give the black plastic connector a good pull. It will slide off. I hope this helps anyone else with this headache...

FYI - There is a small plastic clip you can depress with your fingers on the side towards the trunk lid back inner wall. If this clip is broken like mine was you insert a small flat blade screwdriver into the backend of the connector. There is a small internal gap in the brass that grabs the 1/4" blade terminal on the switch. Then the whole connector pulls off easily leaving the switch mounted blade on the lock. Old thread, just wanted to explain it better.
