What would you do?

Ok I bought set of Tein Flex coilovers off a member here who shall remain nameless. I recieved the coilovers about a month ago and they were just as expected. He said they had about 1500 miles on them and looking at them it seemed about right, very good condition no rust. The only problem is that the seller never included the spanner wrench to adjust them. When I noticed this I PM'd him the same day I received them. He got back to me right away and said that he forget and would ship them out. I emailed him a couple days later to confirm and he let me know that they were sent out. So i wait and wait and he actually emails me asking if I received them which I had not. He said that he did ship them and he would ship me another set. He said that if I got 2 sets then I should send one back, told him that would not be a problem.

It has been nearly three weeks now and I still don't have them. The seller has a good rating and I have no complaints with the coilovers but it is clear these wrenches were not sent. I could understand maybe the first set getting lost in the mail but also the 2nd set? I emailed him earlier this week and have yet to get a response. I know it's just wrenches but it makes me wonder if the coilovers he sent me are legit. They are Tein's but maybe they have more miles on them as stated, I don't know. I'm not going to cause a fuss but I wanted to see what other would do.

It shouldn't take that long to shipped the wrench. Might be something fishy. Wait a couple more days, if it's not there yet then contact him again. Good luck

I say just buy the wrenches. They are cheap and easy to get.....If the guy didnt is acting fishy just give him a bad rating.

I agree with the moderators, PM a moderator and get them involved. You paid him for coilovers, so everything should come with it. Dont spend extra money when you dont have to.

This is what I would do to save myself from this headache. I'd rather pay the $20 something for the wrench and not have to wait weeks and weeks to install a part.

PM him telling him that you are going to buy the wrenches yourself and then give him a negative rating. Give it a day or so for him to reply to see if that lights a fire under his *** on getting the wrenches to you. Make sure you get a tracking number.

Also, you may be able to file a partial complaint via paypal for the amount that the wrenches cost you.
