sounds like insurance fraud to me, no way can the oil cooler be damaged if it was hit on the drivers side. look at wheres its located. its the black thing on the passenger side.

Just so you know, the oil cooler guide in the front bumper WILL hit the oil cooler if the bumper is hit. Don't comment on threads that don't concern your stupid remarks.

ok to the guy thats asking on the first post..

if u reported it to the insurance company they when the dealers do the carfax report they will see it was in an accident and will then take it in and check it by one of their own.. my srt4 was damaged alil and they took 2500bucks off cuz it was damaged.. but diff dealers are different.. plus u have a evo and dealers know ppl want them so they might be generous!!

So lets say you take your car into the dealer to trade for a car they ask you if your car has been crashed and you tell them no. Later on you can u get in trouble for that if they find out?

Please people. These cars and most new model "Cars" are UNIBODY.....ie they don't have a conventional "Frame"....ie the whole car is the "Frame".

So even if you ding a roof or quarter panel you have damaged the "Frame"

And to the OP it is worth what someone is willing to pay.

You can always start out at the price you mentioned. Just be willing to come off it some if the buyer is smart.
