on a side note.. at maxton you only get in the 200mph club if you go over 200 and break a record in the class.. does anyone know if he broke the class record??
we will be there in may with my bikes, hopefully i can see the evo run!!

We upped the class record by ~40mph. We were running F Blown Fuel. I'll have pics and a full write up sometime this week. Last week was absolute hell for everyone involved trying to get teh car done. I pulled near all nighters from Saturday through Wednesday so that we could be in NC Thursday morning.

We upped the class record by ~40mph. We were running F Blown Fuel. I'll have pics and a full write up sometime this week. Last week was absolute hell for everyone involved trying to get teh car done. I pulled near all nighters from Saturday through Wednesday so that we could be in NC Thursday morning.

Thanks for all of the well wishes from everyone.
Mike since you know about this sort of racing I'll give you the run down of what I accomplished last weekend.
By running the 210 mph pass I
1- broke the existing record by approx. 40 mph
2- went over 200 mph while breaking the record which gets me into the 200 mph club and I got my green hat
3- my pass was fast enough to win my side of the HOTROD TOP SPED CHALLANGE which got me the HOTROD jacket
4- my pass was also the fastest pass for a car of any kind at this met(only 2 motorcycles where faster)
So as an overview it was a really tough week getting there but I accomplished everything I set out to do and more.
No we will not be able to make the may race unfortunately.

We have 27 World records there also on 5 bikes.. 25 of them over 200mph.. I really hope to see you there at 1 meet this season..
