Have you guys herd of Turbo Blue?

I'm getting an evo soon as I sale my vehicles. I was just curious(I did search) Have any of you ran Turbo Blue, would this hurt the car? I believe it is a 104 octane in pa it's about 4.80 a gallon. Would the Evo enjoy this? Would it be a great increase over 94 pump gas?

i dont believe the ecu will advance the timing much more past what it does from 94 octane. It is nice to have that stuff if you have an ecu tuned for it but here in California we use it to boost our **** water (91 octane) to a respectable 93-94 octane mix.

No harm in running it but i dont thing you will get the 4.80 a gallon worth on a stock evo. now with mods and an ecu (or piggy back or whatever) programed for 104 you may see some difference

Be careful and make sure you get Turbo Blue unleaded.

I wouldn't use the stuff....that stuff is for race cars tuned to run it...I know a lot of guys that used it in there dirt track race cars, but it's just a little over kill for a stock EVO.....

and buy the way...where in PA are you from....I'm from The Philadelphia area...but grew up in central PA

We have a few stations that sell Turbo Blue in the St.Louis area, but it is not the unleaded type. The only way you can buy Turbo Blue here is to have the attendant unlock the pump and then you can only pump the fuel into a gas can and not directly into your vehicle.

Be real careful or you may be popping for that race cat or test pipe sooner than planned!

As long as you tune your car for it and eliminate the cat I don’t see anything wrong with running turbo blue everyday. The only negative thing is you will probably kill your O2 sensor running leaded race gas all the time. But you could run 20-21lbs of boost all the time and make lots of power
