Test pipe...so many options....

I know Gruppe-S (www.gruppe-s.com) has the Helix Test pipe with o2 fix for $75 shipped. I bought this a few weeks back no CEL and fitment was excellent.
anyone running the megan test pipe without a CEL?
That sensor won't affect fuel trims or anything like that. That is the job of the front O2 sensor. My mechanical CEL fix worked great. Either order one or just drill out a 18MM (Not sure on size. I'll check when I get home) non-fouler with a 1/2" drill bit and screw another one on the bottom attaching to the test pipe or midpipe. I'd highly recommend attaching the O2 sensor to the midpipe. I didn't feel safe with it in the test pipe, because it was angled towards the ground. My CEL hasn't come up once since I installed it btw.

Anyways, he told me that it doesn't make sense to cheat the O2... Took mine to Ace Hardware and they drill it for $2. Cost me about $7 total.Got a question for those who already install their O2 fouler. Do you have to use two of them???
I have the Megan one as well, I paid less than $50 new, it is resonated and it matchs my espelir dp. Just buy the cheapest one, don't waste your $

^You stack the 2 non-foulers and then the o2 sensor. On a different note though, will the megan tp work on an evo9? I checked the megan site and it says 'evo 8'. Anyone want to chime in?
Yup, Megan test pipe fits the IX just fine. I have the full Megan turbo back on my IX MR. It does throw a cel so you need to do the mechanical fix or have your tuner program it out.
You should look at the ultimate racing test pipe. It has a built in test pipe so you don't have to worry about anything else. Its like 75-85 shipped last I checked. I run it on my car and have never had a problem.

Instead of buying a testpipe then buying a cel fix... Just do it in one shot. I'm trying to find a pic of it for the OP since their website sucks.
