question about going back to stock airbox

Hi, I have the HKS RS intake for over 4 months now. My car was tune with all the mods I have including the intake. Im interested in going back to the stock air. Will I need a retune if going from the HKS RS intake to stock box or can I keep my current tune and just increase my boost alittle?

I know going from stock to open air i need a tune, just not sure if it applies the opposite.

TIA

Probably don't need to adjust fuel or timing. Leave the boost alone. Get a wideband and Evoscan and you don't have to guess.

I would think you'd be OK for a while. Just the next time you plan on any mods I'd get a fresh tune.

I think Ive grown old of the open air sound and BOV sound. I want the engine bay a little quieter. The sound of the turbo spool and the bpv opening is nice once in a while but I think im done with it. The car runs and spools great though with it though.

Thank for everyone's response.

Ill try to get evoscan and learn how to use it.

I think you probably need a retune for better performance
