Where to connect Boost leak tester...

I made the 'ol boost leak tester and was wondering I KNOW most guys connect it to the turbo inlet on the compressor side but can i just disconnect my MAF sensor from the HKS hard pipe and do it from there? Or will i get an inaccurate test from that point b/c id be pressurizing the UICP and D/V etc etc...?

you have to connect it directly to the turbos compressor housing, the other way won't be accurate
