boost leak tester?

hey there where is a good place to buy a boost leak tester???

or what all do i need to make one if that'll be WAY cheaper??

you can make ur own with stuff from home depot for about 5 bucks.

Just as a FYI Buschur's MAF pipe kit uses larger tubing. When i made my own i found that a 3" PVC or ABS pipe cap along with a short length of 3" pipe fit almost perfect maybe a bit of a stretch to get it on but no problem.

I also found a 1/8" NPT air valve in brass that i just tapped the pipe with.

I just did a search... And though it's a little on the expensive side for a boost leak tester, the way it's built justifies it's price

Not bad at all... I think I'll try it out...

Hrm... That looks fairly handy... $5 for the stuff @ Home Depot + ~$30 for a cheapish boost gauge. Price isn't too bad all things considered.

Check the tech section of Cobbs website. They have a good article about what to check and how to make one.

Ruben i went to ACE harware and bought all the parts need for just over 5 bucks,,,,, if i wanted i could have added a PSI gauge that way i dont have to read my boost gauge,,,,,,,, we can help you out make one if you need one

i will be doing a boost leak before the dyno day

I bought the 2 inch one a few years ago. I guess I payed too much but it works great.
