Evo price question

Hey guys, I currently own an Evo 8 w/ a few mods. I've been thinking about selling the car, so I placed my car in the local Autotrader to 'test the waters', and I received several responses. Recently I found a GG Evo 9 MR at a local mitsu dealership. The car is stock (except for a K&N air filter), it has 22k miles, and it comes w/ the remainder of a 60kmi bumper to bumper warranty.

The blue book value of the car is 31,150, and the dealership is asking 30,980. I tried to negotiate w/ the dealer today, and the most they would take off is $980, essentially letting the car go for 30k plus tax, tag, and licence. Is this a good deal, or should I pass?

Thanks guys

You may want to do it considering you really cannot find as many IX's anymore.Im sure if you tried to bargain a bit more you may be able to squeeze a couple hundred bucks out of them.

That a pretty good price considering it's a dealer. if you look at private market it might be lower. you take your pick.

You can almost get a 10 for that price. We have a place here where you can get a 10 for 33k out the door.

Don't do it to yourself. That seems pretty high man. I got my IX for $29,500 out the door. That was brand new. That doesn't take into consideration that IX's are more sparse now, but come on. Like someone else suggested... hit up a private sale. Good luck.

its a good price from a dealer but i mean think about it, its got 22000 miles on it, u can get a much better price from someone on here, and if you could pick up a brand new x from the dealerships on here for even lower than that. Thinking back i may have wanted to wait... definitly don't rush, but if u want the ix then its your call.
