i had my nisei blow off once...took off the support bracket and it hasnt happened since. with the bracket attached, it just doesnt allow for enough flex, WAY too stiff.

Did you t-bolt it before it blew?

the pipe only shipped with a coupler / t-bolts for the turbo side, so i had to reuse the stock parts for the intercooler side.

i plan on ordering new couplers and clamps everywhere, but i'll still leave the support unattached...

Same thing happened to me but I ended up rigging my own bracket, to give the support bracket more slack, and it didn't blow off.

I recently purchased another Nisei LICP and it fits perfect...hairspray and t-bolt clamps don't hurt either.

Gotcha. That would explain it.

I feel lucky to only have my UICP blow off. 3 times in one week, and then t-bolted it. No problems since. Repairing a LICP on the road would be a little tricky.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I thought it would be best to ask here.

Can anyone recommend some good couplers/clamps if I am getting an aftermarket LICP? I am thinking about going with the ETS L92 but haven't decided yet. Anything else I should pick up for that install?

Most aftermarket LICP's come with silicon couplers and t-bolt clamps.
