NEVER launch @ 700+AWHP...TAKE A LOOK :(

Just finished tuning the hideous Evo VIII on the dyno and decided to to feel in on the road, by the way, we made in excess of 700AWHP @ only 29lbs on the "stroked" GT37 . Feeliing overwhelmed, we tried to launch it @ 7000rpm, and "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM", it went box plus transfer case.......

TAKE A LOOK GUYS!!!

YOU'RE MY HERO!!

I haven't seen a broken trans like that since my SCCA days!!

Seeing broken bits like that sure does bring back (expensive) memories.

I was thinking the same thing, but they'll need some of the big tubes.

Good luck to the OP and let us know what you replace it with and how it holds up.

I feel sorry for you man. But thanks for the advice. I would feel comfortable at at most 500awhp but I think 400awhp is good enough. Especially for a DD for now I would probably get a new tranny unlike the comment by other owners as to weld the thing back. I'm sure they're just playing but it'll be expensive. I hope not that expensive though. Good luck and be careful next time
