also, why was your bill 2200 for a spark plug that popped out? i actually had the same thing happen to my car... ripped all the threads out of it (spark plug was backing out slowly because i obviously didn't torque it down enough). i simply went to autozone, got a tap with a threaded insert, tapped it out, put the insert in, and walla! works like new, cost me maybe 20 bucks (plus a new spark plug, coil, and wire, which was maybe 100). i spent a great deal of time cleaning the cylinder out for metal pieces from rethreading it so it took the better part of an evening.
WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! That sounds exactly like what happened to me. I took it to the Dealership, (I know bad idea, but there is no where within 100 miles around Gainesville that I would trust with my car). Said that they had to take off the entire top end and send it off to the machine shop to get it rethreaded. Also had to clean the cylinder. A new head gasket, labor, machine shop labor added up to 2200. I really hope you didn't have the same problem that you fixed for about 100.

Oh and who ever posted the video of the whine mine doesn't sound exactly like that. Imma at least get it checked out, maybe flush out the ****.
