I was driving down the road and some guy in another car heard my BOV. He then said that the NOS sounded cool.

 

"It's the SPORTS edition of Mitsubishi Lancer"

 

I have had two.
First one was at the drag strip. It's a backwoods 1/8th mile and full of muscle cars. Of course all the imports there had wings because they were little kids that think its cool. As I got up to race, the guy came over the speaker and said "another four cylinder so fast it needs a wing". Too bad the mustang didnt have one, I blew him out lol.

Second on was at a little meet that goes down every weekend. Again mostly hondas there but some cars that show up are worth going. I am wingless at this point and have been for a while. Well as I am leaving some kids makes the comment "what happened to your wing, fall off?" and then he proceeded to laugh histarically like it was a great joke.

Those are about it.

 

My father-in-law first saw my Evo IX when I'd removed the wing. After glancing at the back end of it he said, "That's what I should get; a nice basic economy car."

 

it just annoys the **** out of me when there will be older guys talking about there old muscle cars and stuff and if i talk about my Evo they say "Whats that?"

i've had people tell me that my car is "ricer" and it's all american parts.. let's see my VEILSIDE body kit came straight from japan, my HKS exhaust came straight from japan and my INJEN intake came straight from japan.. then i asked them where did you get you body kit and exhaust.. they said AUTOZONE. i told them i have more JDM PARTS then your whole honda car

 

You cannot expect them to know.. be realistic..

 

Parked off of Woodward Ave during the Dream Cruise (if you dont know - its the biggest 1 day car event in the world...local to MI).

I was near the car and over heard two young guys checking her out:
"So, this is that twin turbo 4 cylinder?"
-"No, its a V6 turbo."

--Just want to mention that the hood was open...

 

That's the best one, because I had a guy that thought my tire blew out!

 

I was driving this chick home when she asked " Is this a Saturn"? because apart from the seats, the interior doesn't look like a $35k car. -__-

I have also had some dumbass kids call it ricey because of the wing. I just smile at them because they have no idea how amazing this car performs.

I have also had this one guy who looked at my speedo and said "160mph? yeah right, this thing would never get up there" I proved him wrong last weekend.
