Fule Pump Swap From HELL...

I swaped my fuel pump for a Walbro 255 today. I did everything right, but my car will not start.

I get a spark and my plugs are dry. The pump is pumping fuel in to the fuel rail. I swapped my old pumpback in tosee if that will work, but I get the same result.
Has anyone had a problem like this ?

You got to use the stock rubber groment for good seal along with the stock spacer. the one in the kit is just a plain o-ring and won't make as good of a seal then the stock groment and spacer will. also make sure ur fuel lines are connected probley my buddy didn't check his and while driving it blew off and started dumping fuel .

I made sure that the stock o-ring is good and all of the lines are connected correct, and I'm using the stock spacer. I also checked my return line under the hood, and that is dry. Im also getting fuel in in the fuelrail (uned the hood).

Totally had that same problem. It was the black grommet. I was so pissed at myself. The black grommet just sits there and is not pushed over the nozzle end or anything. The ribs on the grommet act as the seals, and the grommet is also like a spacer at the same time. Just slide the grommet into its spot in the white piece and slide the pump in after it. The best site I found with instructions was on EvoMoto.

If your return is not spraying fuel when you try and start the car, then your not making enough fuel pressure. There must be something wrong with the wiring or the oring on the pump. Good luck.
