do i need a clutch?

i have a act street 25k miles on it. and im getting a shep trans rebuild. eventually want a 3076 turbo but not for long long time. im poor. im pretty sure a act street will start to slip with that turbo setup. but im not trying to spend $1,500 on a exedy twin. any cheaper ways around this. because a new cluch would have no labor with the trans out now.

mods are in my sig

If your trans is already coming out, replacing your clutch now is way better then the labor charge to do it later.

There is no better time to swap your clutch than when the trans is out. Why do it twice? Save up and do it once the right way, no point in paying for a bunch of labor if you don't have to.

If the trans is coming out, put a clutch in. A twin-disc is the way to go. Even if you don't really need it now, you will later down the road, and there is no better time than the present.
