I dont have a IX but do have a VIII and the sent me one but in addition to offering retail for my VIII plus they offered a 200,000 mile warranty. Rick Case in Gwinnett Georgia. Tempting since my Evo is paid off but really I am not sure I want to get back into having a car payment again.

I jsut got one yesterday for my 03 which I don't own anymore. Except this came from a Hyundai dealer wanting to buy my mitsu so I'd buy their car.

Actually, I just remembered getting one a few years ago for my Eclipse. But they didn't offer to give me MSRP.

I get a letter like that atleast once a month for my 2005 8. I've been offered 25k for my car since it only has 28,000 miles on it.

It does seem like there are a lot of people, even on here, trying to buy a ix. Maybe I've just never noticed it before.

I got a letter a while back, I have an 03 Evo 8, and they wanted to pay MSRP for the Evo, IF you buy the newer version. I do want an Evo X, but I looked closer at the fine print, and they take away $0.50 * (miles on the car) from the MSRP price, so in the end, for me, atleast, I would be getting worse than blue book value...

It's kind of funny, I am writing this at a Mitsubishi dealership right now, hahaha.

That is just a ploy to get a car they will make a few pennies on to the lot and a reason for you to buy a new car from them. Our Sales Department does the same thing.

I got a buy back letter for my Ralliart. It must be some sort of ploy to get you to buy a new car.

I got the same letter, sounds like a crock of **** to me. Why would they want my car, maybe because it has a couple of grand worth of quality parts invested into it, it puts more than the advertised crank HP to the wheels now, and it's maintained meticulously, I'd want my car too.
