Those who have worked on EVO's and WRX/STI's. Which, mechanically, is better?
Well for starters you cant just drop the clutch in awd cars unlike rwd and fwd cars where they will break the tires loose taking the strain off the trans and clutch. Try doing that in an evo/sti and eventually you'll break something.
I own both. The Evo is a more solid feeling car, at least my MR is. No rattles and I bought it in Nov 05, Our same year STI is about a year newer and it's a rattlebox. I'm OCD and driving that car with all those rattles would drive me batty. Rachel doesnt seem to mind, I guess she's used to it.

What about the cylinder head? I have known (well in older cars at least) that due to the different expansion rates of aluminum and iron, I have seen headgaskets go early on cast iron/aluminum head engines. How is the EVO?
