Negative. Do you have a boost controller? If not, that would be a wise next step (unless you plan on controlling boost through the ECU). Drive it conservative (I know that may be hard, ha ha), until it is tuned.

The Evo is pig rich from the factory. I drove mine for a while untuned and it was still rich as can be. Just watch your boost and keep it at the stock level and you will be more than OK. A Walbro wouldn't hurt either.

With those mods their is nothing to worry about, I had alot more than that on the stock ROM and it still ran horribly rich and didn't give much of any gain (except sound) untill I got my tune. Just make sure your boost is at the stock level after your TBE install and you will be fine. I suggest you get yourself a tactrix cable and a logger program as you will need these in the near future anyway and verify for yourself.

You should be fine. I had mine installed before the tune. I just don't really run hard except when logging but it all goes well so far. I'm almost done with tuning. If you haven't tune it yet, I would PM Tamer at 4Wheels Slide because it'll cost you a lot less! But it's your choice and depends if you got the time because it's going to take some time to do street tuned Good luck

(most of us know how rich the cars are from the factory) ... from my experience, I put the injen intake on first, and it leaned it out nasty style up top, but if you were to add the exhaust, that richens the whole powerband, so you should be fine! Just try not to do too much spirited driving till the tune. And if your not gonna be tuned via ecu boost control than definitely get a MBC!
