Why Is It Soo Hard To Sell An Evo
+1. Just put back to stock. Sell all of your other stuff and combined you can get what you're asking for and possibly more.
This is very true i saw an evo around the corner where i live and it took 3 days and i saw someone with the paper plate on it. It really does sell faster stock. When i worked for the stealership, evos sold fast ,especially when posted on Autotrader, which most stealerships use.
It's because most of you guys are asking WAY too much. It's very hard to stomach paying 29k+ on a used car when I for example could get an X shipped from cali to my house for like 31k.
I know the IX is a proven platform, but most people arent willing to pay that much for it. I am though.
AND the fuel costs. I am probably going to spend most of the time riding it down my hill in neutral.

I wish Evo's were cheap around here. IIIV's and IV's are selling for $26-$28k still and are only on the lots for a few days. When I was looking, everytime I saw a car for sale, it was gone by the time I called. The car I bought was only on the lot for 3 days and another Evo they had (which was sold) was only there for 4 days. I paid $27k for a mint 05' that was bone stock with 19k miles.

Im selling it coz im done wit my studies n going back home i never had plans to sell it was going to take it back home by my country has soo many rules & 425% tax.. & no ita not blue it Apexi silver evo IX
& guys im asking for 24.5K OBO car has 23150 miles engine is stock turbo stock i still manage to get 345whp on buschurs dyno (93 + meth) with the stock intercooler stock actuator & stock O2.. i would def let it go for 23.XK & im including the all the stock parts & 6 tires 4 blizzaks & 2 advans.. & i dont beat on the car like tat i dont even get to go to the drag strip much coz every summer i go back home,, & the car sits in a garage for atleast 3 months..
Sounds like a good deal.. i'd take it if i didnt have mine already.. just dont lower the price to much.. we got to keep theses things selling high!!! Ebay could be hit or miss.. Problem with Ebay.. no one wants to pay retail.. you'd be lucky to sell for 20-21k ..
BTW i would def take the meth kit off... and sell it to me!

It always comes down to price. It doesn't matter what mods, miles, or color your car is...people want the cheapest thing possible. If you're motivated to sell then you gotta take a hit on the asking price just to move the car faster.
Cash is king. Just like my econ professor said everyday in class.
