Why Is It Soo Hard To Sell An Evo

guyss i ve been trying to sell my car for a long time now.. all ppl do is email.. no one seem to be interested in buying... i have a friend who s trying to sell his ford focus for a really long time..is the economy that bad or is the fuel cost really taking a hit on the evo byers...

What venues are you using to sell? I live in CT, and there is a local paper/website (www.bargainnews.com) that is only CT/NY/MA/RI. I've sold 2 Hondas, 1 Volvo, and 2 Camaros VERY quickly on that website. I've never used cars.com, autotrader, etc. Are you using a local place similar to that?

I sold my Camaro SS in 3 hours after I listed it (not too long ago) and I got $800 above blue book.

How can u relate the market for a Ford Focus, and a EVO?

Its not hard to sell a EVO. U got it priced to high, or not advertised enough.

well i live in valparaiso Indiana not too many evo guys.. & i ve listed my car for 24.5K OBO thats below blue book value hehe.. thanks for the info dude i think ill list the car on that as well...

maybe coz not so many people know what an Evo is. Coz for them it's just a regular over priced lancer with body kit, and rims.

and one more reason is the raising fuel cost.

im not man but he gets more ppl than me but no one s buying it..some ppl here dont even know wot an evo is they think its a lance wit a big aftermarket wing hehe

A lot of people looking at used Evos are fearful that the cars have been monkeyed around with and then returned to stock to be sold.

21-22k for a evo IX thas too low ...a guy i know in MI bought a 2005 evo 8 for 24K wit 25k miles on it that was like 3 months ago when i had no plans to sell mine
