lol i think it's a evo 8, the center counsel got that round ring around the shift stick like the evo 8. everything on this car is pointed to a Viii, he must gotten a ix front end. the valve cover confuses me, but it look like a 05 cause it has ACD. i mean... why would he go thru all that trouble to transfer his car to a 8 if is a 9?? LOL

Nine envying an Eight! Someone wrecked this worse than showed....found eight parts for less than nine parts, so decided to save....on top of not knowing anything about these cars and thought they were all the same.....POS IMO I wouldnt pay 10k for it.....If I was that seller i would have spent the extra cash for a new Core.....IDIOTS and I hope he/she reads this!

it looks like another IX with some VIII parts... I've seen this before.

 

my guess is it is a theft recovery and wasn't listed as a salvage title and pieced back together.

it is also missing front under tray.

for future reference from 2001 and newer the 10 digit represents the year of the car. it will change to letters in 2010.

Oh, I was looking at this thing a couple of nights ago and couldn't figure out what was going on with it. I def pity the person that buys this one, it just looks like a mismatch of parts. Amazed it doesn't have a salvage title.

 

The dealer would have to give ME money to take that car....
