what i always thought "turns on a dime" meant was that the car could turn around on a dime, being a dime is small. so what he said really doesnt make any sense. and when u list an evo on ebay alot of times the options come up with the ones from the lancer, thats why you see cruise control alot and sometimes even power seats

Second, a 2006 with 63,000 miles? Did the previous owner run smack across country for a living?
Third, the ACD is set to Gravel? Why would you drive on the paved parking lot in the gravel mode.
Fourth, car is all original, the "only aftermarket accessories IS the wheels"? WTF is that large cone air filter? That is not an option for an Evo. That is another aftermarket part, which in turn tells me that the dealer knows jack schitt about this and probably every other car on the lot.

Did I hit the points for which you were looking?
+1 The stock Enkie rims are good enough but I don't know why those rims. I rather those money into other mods

I saw a white one like this once. It was a 2006 but had a LOT of VIII parts such as the blue seats and so on. It is odd. Only one of the previous owners knows the truth.

But looking at that intercooler and missing undertray I can almost guarantee there's more unseen....

Hell yeah... That's a huge give away right there ^... And that many miles on a IX is a lot... IDK... But that car was really abused and before the owner sold it, he must of parted some of his IX stuff to his other EVO pal.. The car is seriously f'ed IMHO...

+1.Maybe he was confused and thinks the car should have a JDM IX rear?

The previous owner probably beat the crap out of the car and sold all the IX parts off and traded the car in.

It may be the angle of the picture being taken but does it look the the core support is a bit bent on the passenger side where the radiator stay is bolted in?

its definitely a 9 since it has mivec, you cant put that valve cover on another car so it has to be a 9. It has evo 8 rear bumper, interior, headlights and tailights. Looks like someone traded a bunch of pieces off before deciding to sell. I wonder if that IC is leaking too.

someone posted about this a few months back.. he and his friend were switching all the parts off of a ix that got the **** raped out of it and getting traded back to the dealer. they took all the parts off his friends VIII and threw them on the IX and all the IX parts onto the VIII. who knows if its even an VIII or IX head as they may have just swapped everything. the turbo prolly doesn't have a 10.5 hotside... i don't remember where this was posted or by who, but i remember it got quite a few people pissed off. i pray no one gets stuck with this car. it is a slew of crap parts taken off beat up evos in exchange for other parts that the dealer would never notice

Holy crap.. that's definately a parts car now. It's unfortunate but someone needs to put that wretched beast down humanely.
