AEM TrueBoost - Is it worth it..?

I am about to get my car tuned at a shop here and the only question that I have is on my boost control situation.

I like the intended funcionality of the AEM TruBoost but I am hearing mixed reviews...

Any thoughts on this controller?

Its a very nice unit. If you dont have a boost gauge or boost controller its a nice combo piece. If you already have a boost gauge than just get a mbc and call it a day.

Cheers!

^a boost gauge is part of the very first BR stage... IIRC... how can you not have one being stage 4?

anyway, get the tru-boost. it's sweet.

I bought one with the intentions of not liking it. Just from reading on here and how much of a pain in the *** they are to set-up. All EBCs in general not just this one, but after using it i love it. I couldnt be happier. I like how im able to switch between three different settings on the fly. You have an A, B setting then you have OFF which will run off wastegate pressure, IM sure this is just like any other EBC, but if you dont have either i would recommend it. very easy to setup as well. If you hvae any questions feel free to pm me. Also another plus is the digital read out and it will also give you your peak psi level.

Thanks for the reply's guys. I think I will order one and try it out.

Holler - good spot --I did have a guage on it up till now, but since I am having stages 3/4 installed by a shop, I decided to get all new guages installed as well.
