Slower?
I raced a IX with a test pipe, cat-back and intake compared to my TBE, cone filter, and 22psi. He only pulled away in 5th gear (because of the bigger turbo I assume). IX's are generally faster, but ot by a HUGE amount, in my personal experience.
I currently make 301whp on a Mustang. When we raced, I made 236whp. I'm not sure what he makes. My next upgrade is a IX turbo, o2 housing and ported manifold to hopfully make in the 330-350whp range.

Bah ... IX's and that turbo of theirs ...
... would have made the switch ages ago, but at the time they were kind of rare, guess it never occured to me since then to go ahead and grab one. *takes notes*
