def acknowledge them plus all the other type of cars that wave to me I wave back....the others usually throw a thumbs up

 

Usually I spot a fellow evo owner before they spot me. HEHE. I always see if they're looking before I throw up a peace sign

 

i wave all the time to the viii/ix. the X owners in my area think they're the **** and don't wave back or try to race.

 

Back when I daily drove the 2g I would try to have to other DSMs and Evos but people looked at me like I was a crazy moron... Drove a blue STi for a while and everyone with a Subie would wave at me to a point where it would get funny and people in the car with me would ask why I knew so many people... Now that I came back from the dark side, I will find out if people have changed in the local DSM/Evo community.

 

I find myself waving to other evo drivers, as well as the owners of all the car models i've previously owned.... people probably wonder why the heck I'm wavin at them lol

 

i even give a nod to base lancer owners - a "hey lil brother" nod...

i wave to evos and sti all the time. just the other day i waved to a sti and the passenger gave me the finger. douche bag.

 

 

saw a black X a few weeks back and he waved at me before i could wave first. felt proud of myself lol. but yea i always wave at evos, ralliart (rare), and stis.

 

I wave at evo and sti owners, and, ironically enough, i get more waves back from the sti owners. Kinda funny.

I flicker my high beams instead of waving coz I'm short and its hard to see me inside the car. My old boss told me he thought the car was on auto-pilot cos he can't see my head coz of the bucket seat.

 

People here in Cali don't wave much. I've met so many people out here who just feel like their car is just a car. Anywhere else I've been, people who own Evos are enthusiasts..
