Used to have a bike before the Evo so it is natural. I was visiting GA and I even got waves from the Sti guys, the Suby crowd here doesn't seem too keen on picking that idea up.

 

The EVO crowd sucks in Chicago. A bunch of stuck-up ****** who think their car is God. I'd rather wave to Honda, Toyota, subaru, and srt-4 owners...which I do.

I believe there is one other Evo in my town (20k pop) and several Sti. I wave to them all.

I have love for all cars, so you wont find any hate from me with any particular brand.

 

I have a bike, boosted civic, as well as my evo. So alot of waves. The car ppl in my town are all pretty close so its cool. Out of town i wave. Every now and again i get a one finger wave from sti drivers. Lol

 

i kind of noticed that too in chicago area but most local evos were i live most of them will wave but when i visit chicago every so often not to many of them wave they just mean mug you like they have something better!!

 

Yes, I do wave / nod - acknowledge them but this is what I notice, If I am driving my evo and nod or wave, they nod or wave. But if I am driving my minivan, they look puzzle like do I know you? LOL...

The problem, is that the X has too many creature comforts. You don't have just enthusiasts driving the Evo anymore like the VIII and IX guys.



I wave at all Evos, we're all part of the same family.

 

Similar results in Chicago. Seems like everyone has something to prove rather than just appreciating someone else's pride and joy. I met a ton of fellow non-disgruntled enthusiasts at the Supercar Saturday meets, but have never seen Evo's there.

I wave to Evos STis, WRXs and others.

I even wave to muscle car guys, even though a lot of them act like jerks. Funny, cause the Evos guys I know love and respect the old school muscle cars.
