I think it's more a sign of respect and acknowledgement that it's another car enthusiast. I've never not waved 'cause it wasn't an evo. We all started somewhere..

 

I think its awesome to wave! Just like bike riders! I feel that I have a mean machine on the road along with the other guy next to me, passing me, whatever!

i may have did this once or twice...they waived at me so i raise my hand up as if i were, then quickly brush my hair back...HA! but sometimes i wave

 

So far I just get stares from STI owners, but I do the palm outward wave regardless.

 

I wave at any car that is respectable. But I mostly see myself getting waved at by the sti guys. But then like Kurt said. There are some people who just give you the death stare from hell!

 

Just like those in the crown victoria

 

I get alot of moded sti's waving but the stock sti guys are real badass's. They don't wave. To answer the question I wave if the other dude waves.

 

I always try to, and even feel bad when I don't notice the evo till it's already gone lol

What I really, really, REALLY hate is when another evo drives up alongside me and acts like a douche...revving loud, trying to race, whatever. Dude, we have the same car, just chill and throw a wave!

 

Same here, its oppisite here i think. The stock guys wave at me the modded ones rev engines up and thing they cool. I'm just like uhhh....what...

Just had a subie owner wave at me today, gave him a nod back

 

i too ride a busa and do the two fingers down or if the situation calls for it tap the helmet other bikers know wat i mean. i do the same in the evo.

this makes me get angry too, especially in traffic. i wave if they wave, if not i could care less.
