just got my evo, ive got some questions!

ok so, i only drove my evo befor buying it.. not any other

i just have some questions about stuff..
1. everytime i start the car i hear a few loud beeps.. is that anything special or just w/e
2. do all evos sound really loud on the road?
3 (kinda off the newbie subject) if i decided to lower it by 1" ish would that completly screw the struts? because i know it does with hondas, but its ****ty suspension in the first place.. (i plan on upgrading, just cant afford with the car payments just yet. going with a cheap alternative temporarily.)
3. does a turboback exhaust void manufacturer warranty?
4. do i really need to re-tune the car if i just do turbo back, IC piping, and a drop in filter?

thanks!

Congrats on the car. I have a gg as well.

Is the beeping the seat belt warning? Mine starts beeping as soon as I start rolling without bucking up.

My car is loud on the road. My z28 was loud on the road. I assume you are referring to the drivetrain drone and the tires on the pavement sound.

Not a big fan on lowering unless I have the right components, so I wouldn't lower it yet.

TBE should not void the warranty. Mine hasn't for sure.

Re-tuning optimizes your bolt-ons. You get the most out of your mods with the tune/adjustment.

Hope that helps.

G/L with the car.

Congrats on your purchase!

Not sure about the beaping but here are the others.

For the loudness, yes, every evo, stock or not that I have rode in are loud.

I would wait to lower it untill you get some springs

A tbe will void your warranty, unless you get REALLY lucky and they dont mind, but i bet you that will not happen.

And yes, the re tune is a great Idea, it will give you more power and it will run much smoother with the mods.

my is not loud on the road
not sure about the beeping?
and you should get some quality springs, don't cost much
as for a tune its good to tune even a stock evo since they run rich from the factory
