RPM Question

Today I was driving around and I revd the car to 6k with the clutch in. When I let off the gas the RPMs dropped very slow compared to what they usually drop. Is this a problem? Whats does it mean? It kinda seemd like I had my foot on the gas a little but it wasnt...

Ive had this happen a few times here and there.I havent' noticed any issues so Im sure its nothing to worry about.

Throttle hang

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.

Up blackdemon nailed it before I could. Its called throttle hang. Its an emissions feature. And it has been covered.

Just press the clutch in a second time to stop it.
