Water inside my intercooler?
Water inside my intercooler?
Quick question, i was working on my car and i left the lower intercooler pipe off ''disconnected'' from the end where it bolts on to the turbo, in the bottom but it rained really hard and i didnt cover it or anything and i went to look and there was water around would it really matter if water got in there? or do i have to disconnect all the pipes and take the water out? which would really suck lol or can i just connect the pipe and call it day?
Yes take the water out. All you got to do really is just stick a bunch of napkins in the LICP, and let them soak up the water until dry. No need to remove the whole thing unless you want to.
get the water out of there, commons sense, if water was meant to be in there then it would be all the time but the system is supposed to be sealed for a reason.
Better safe than sorry IMO
