I'd get the Mercedes C63 AMG instead.

Like Raw Heat said. I'd take the AMG over the M3 or IS-F.

Or, wait until the new CTS-V is out. They are 550hp monsters.

I feel sorry if you get egged with the Lexus too. People are just jealous they don't have a fast car or nice car that's why they egged you man. You need to live in a nicer neighborhood!

Better, actually, by a few tenths. And it only gets worse after 60 mph.

maybe the thread would work better of you told us what you are really interested in. By just saying, "should I get an IS-F?" you are going to get way too many subjective personal opinions about what other members would do and not opinions about what people think YOU should do.

If you are strictly performance minded (for someone with 2 evos I bet you are), then the M3 is your car.

I love BMWs with the exception of the 7 series and really can't stand most mercedes and lexus cars i've driven; although i have not driven the new is-f or c63 amg, so that's all i'll say. Good luck!

^ But if he wants sheer acceleration then the C63 is the ticket. C&D did 0-60 in 3.9!

Very true! That thing hauls in the straight line, but the motortrend link earlier in the thread has the m3 beating it around the track. Maybe a good question to ask is whether or not the person who is looking to buy one of these will push any of the 3 to the point of noticing the difference.

True. And I'd say that if you're not pushing the car (which is where the M3 really shines as the victor), then the C63 wins, hands-down. Though pretty much everything I've read or watched puts the M3 as the winner on anything involving a corner. But the weird thing was how the test mpg for the M3 was lower than that of the C63 in the four-way comparo in the current Road & Track, even though we all know that the 6.2-liter AMG V-8 is a thirsty martha focker.
