In oklahoma the roads suck and my car takes a beating, one of the brackets that holds my exhaust to the car broke, and so the end of the exhaust kept bumping around when i would hit bumps, so i unbolted it and while driving home my car would idle normal for a minuite then start to idle as if it wanted to die? I have cams, and adjustable cam gears, just wondering if there is a problem or just back pressure problems from no muffler, or a solution. thanks

 

I have seen varying idles with cutout open vs. closed... so it does have somewhat of an affect.

You can log your fuel trims and O2 feedback to see if you're idling too lean.
