need help bought a autometer gauge

i got a nother question here: when i get my steering column pod how do i mount the gauge inside? the gauge comes with like a plastic shell around the side and back with to lock nuts to hold the gauge in place, do i glue that placstic shell to the steering pod or something and then put the gauge and lock nuts on to hold it in place? what does eveyone do to mount the gauge in the pod?

drill 2 holes in the column. Use a sharpie with the bracket mount hte point for the hole. Make sure the size of the hole is smaller than the screws.

My autometer gauge old location:

where did you splice into for light.....the dimmer??

a fuse that comes on w/ the ignition on. You can do the dimmer.

Yeah I used the dimmer. 12V Green and white wire.

the gauge wires are white & black so you spliced white to white and green to the black!?
