evo viii- good deal???

so i was looking at getting another evo and came across an evo viii. guy wants 22,500 for it.

basics of it:

2003 evo 8
36k miles on the body and tranny
0 miles on the engine
hks 272 cams
ported heads with .5mm bigger valves
titanium retainers
aries pistons (9:1 compression)
eagle rods
bigger valves
gt35r turbo kit
carbon hood and trunk
rims
exedy single clutch (brand new)
springs in rear are upgraded
blue interior
sun roof
piggy back ECU (something that starts with a v....)

body has scrapes on front bumper that are minimal and lower
3 or 4 door dings under the size of a quarter
small scrape on a front fender
light damage to a rear fender lip

but planning to repaint it white and get an evo ix front bumper on it....

all work was done by a reputable shop and it's the shop owners car.....

so thoughts??? is it a or a

thanks!

It depends. With all the mods it is a good deal but if the car has zero miles than how do you know if the car will run correctly?

well i wouldn't go fully through on the purchase until i knew it ran and it ran good. i kno cars and would be able to tell that much, just not evos.

im in az, so i want the car there and i'm planning on doing full paint, so im not worried about color.

i also kno the owners rep and he's the owner of a pretty well known shop around here that hasn't had any complaints, so as far as engine goes im not worried about it.

a fully built GT35 for $22,500 isnt a bad deal if you know the rep of the guy is good. go for it
